Ever since the revolution in 1959, Cuba has been threatened by the United States. 2025 was one of the most difficult years for the Cuban revolution, and 2026 could be even more critical. Trump has placed Cuba on the list of states that support terrorism and imposed even stricter sanctions. The illegal oil embargo has been imposed to inflict as much suffering as possible on the Cuban people.

Cuba’s Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla accuses the US of provoking a “humanitarian catastrophe” through its fuel embargo. He warns the UN that US threats to recolonize the world threaten all nations, regardless of political system or ideology.

At the same time, the US is waging a propaganda war claiming that the Cuban government has failed and that it is responsible for the difficult situation in the country. The truth is that any country would be brought to its knees if it were subjected to the same treatment as Cuba.

Cubas utenriksminister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla beskylder USA for å provosere frem en «humanitær katastrofe» gjennom sin drivstoffblokade mot Cuba. Han advarer FN om at USAs trusler om å rekolonisere verden truer alle nasjoner, uavhengig av politisk system eller ideologi.

Samtidig fører USA en propagandakrig om at den cubanske regjering har sviktet, og at det er den som er ansvarlig for den vanskelige situasjonen i landet. Sannheten er at alle land ville blitt presset i kne hvis de ble utsatt for det samme som Cuba har blitt utsatt for.
